Dr. Jeslyn Sabol grew up in Austin, TX on Lake Travis. She is licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.

She graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then completed her optometric education and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry where she specialized in contact lenses, pediatrics, low vision rehabilitation and ocular disease. While in school, Dr. Sabol was the president of Beta Sigma Kappa, the optometric honors society. She also received the Clinical Excellence Award in low vision rehabilitation.

Dr. Sabol is very happy to be practicing in Central Texas! In her free time, she loves tailgating and watching Aggie Football with her husband, Will. She and Will met in high school in California when they marched together in the Bands of America National Honor Band in the Rose Parade on New Year’s Day. They now live in New Braunfels and have three precious daughters that keep them laughing daily, along with a cat and dog that do not get along!

Dr. Suzanne Turner was born in Houston, TX and raised in a small city in Illinois. She attended Illinois State University during undergrad, where she majored in Biological Science and minored in Chemistry.

Dr. Turner then enrolled in the four year Doctorate of Optometry program at the University of Houston College of Optometry. During her externships, Dr. Turner gained extensive knowledge in the diagnosis and management of retinal diseases and ocular infections, as well as the co-management of cataract and LASIK surgery, foreign body removal, primary eye care, and contact lens fittings. She is specialized to manage ocular diseases and glaucoma.

When not practicing, Dr. Turner enjoys spending time with her family outdoors. She is dedicated to improving and maintaining good vision for you and your family.

Dr. Abigail Arteaga was born and raised in Austin, TX. She attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

She then went on to complete her optometric education at the University of Houston College of Optometry and graduated Magna Cum Laude. During her fourth-year externships, Dr. Arteaga specialized in ocular disease, primary eye care, dry eye, specialty contact lens fittings, and cataract surgery co-management.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family in Austin and going to dog parks with her German Shepherd, Achilles.

Born and raised in Ft Worth. She moved to Austin in 2005 where she began her career in optometry.  Since then, she has been dedicated to providing exceptional eye care services to the community.

Her expertise spans in various aspects of eye care, including assisting patients during exams, handling insurance verification, and guiding individuals in selecting the perfect pair of glasses. As a Certified Optician (ABOC) and a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant (CPOA), Kim brings a wealth of knowledge and professionalism to every interaction.

Beyond the walls of the office, Kim enjoys trying new restaurants and breweries with her husband and traveling with their blended family. During football season you can find her cheering on The Green Bay Packers or her husband's home state team UGA.

Stephanie has been part of Texas State Optical in New Braunfels since 2014, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. With nearly two decades of experience as a licensed Optician, she holds a degree in the field and has consistently demonstrated her dedication to providing exceptional patient care. Her primary focus is ensuring that each patient finds the perfect frame style and fit, enhancing both their vision and personal style.

Entertaining is one of her favorite pastimes, and she takes great joy in hosting gatherings that bring people together. Additionally, Stephanie is a golfer and enjoys the tranquility of fishing, finding both activities to be a perfect balance to her busy life.

Born in Corpus Christi TX, Stephanie is a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and she never misses an opportunity to cheer them on. How 'Bout Them Cowboys!

Sarina began working in optometry during high school while working for the VA Eye Clinic. In 2009 she began her  optometry journey, from working with patients as a technician to verifying and helping patients understand their insurance coverage. In her off time, Sarina enjoys reading, hanging out with her cat, and watching live music all over the greater Hill Country area.

Born in San Antonio, Texas, Brian has lived all over the world thanks to his father's military service. After high school, he pursued his passion for eye care, earning a certificate in Ophthalmic Technician and Optician training. Years later, he went on to complete his Associate's degree in Business Administration, bringing a well-rounded skill set to the industry. With over 20 years of experience under his belt, he now works as an optical lab technician, processing lenses and providing exceptional customer service. When he’s not at work, you can find him on the road with family, firing up the grill, or diving into hobbies like online gaming, amateur coding, and binge-watching the latest shows.

She began her career in 2024 as the front desk coordinator. Her main responsibilities include answering phone and scheduling patients, ensuring everyone feels welcome and well-assisted from the moment they arrive.

Before joining the team here, I spent six years in customer service, where I developed strong communication, organizational, and problem solving skills. I'm dedicated to learning and contributing to the office's success.

In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and dog. They love trying new restaurants and enjoy each other's company.

Keegan was born and raised in Killeen, Texas then found her way out towards New Braunfels due to college. She graduated from Texas Lutheran University in 2023 with a Bachelors in Exercise Science, and played for the Women's soccer team for a period of time! She is  an Optometric Tech here at TSO where she does her part in conducting seamless patient flow and facilitating communication between patients and doctors. In her free time she  loves spending time with her Australian Shepherds, Kora and Kai, and enjoys going to small business restaurants!
